President & CEO

Since 2021, Nathan Shannon has served as the president and CEO of the Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC), a nonprofit organization that studies the needs and wants of consumers in the energy transition. He leads the organization’s research, membership and policy initiatives and presents consumer research and insights at several industry conferences each year. He previously served as SECC’s deputy director from early 2015 until his appointment as president and CEO.
