Ellen Lesher

Ellen Lesher is a System Operations Controller for Powder River Energy Corporation in Gillette, Wyoming, with two years of experience in electric utility operations. In this role, she supports real-time system monitoring, outage response, and service restoration to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of electric power. Ellen has completed Operations Management System (OMS) training through NISC and has been directly involved in efforts where PRECorp worked closely with NISC to develop and tailor the OMS platform to better align with the cooperative’s equipment and operational needs. Through hands-on operational experience, Ellen brings practical insight into OMS implementation and system operations within a cooperative environment. Ellen works closely with field crews, engineering staff, and neighboring utilities to ensure timely, safe restoration of service and maintain overall system reliability.
